If you live at a property that provides Managed WiFi services from Xfinity, you’ll have access to the Xfinity app. From the Xfinity app, you can:
- View your WiFi details and connected devices.
- Find answers to FAQs.
- See your billing and plan information.
View WiFi details
View WiFi details is where you can:
- View your Unit Network SSID and password.
- View the Property SSID and password.
- View the Guest network name.
- Change your WiFi password.
Note: The ability to change a password is not available to our student housing customers.
Change your WiFi password
Customers living at Managed WiFi properties such as condos, apartments, assisted living communities, and rental units can create their own unique password within the Xfinity app. Off-campus student housing customers can generate a new password.
Customers living at Managed WiFi properties (not student housing)
To change your WiFi password:
- Click on the arrow in the Unit tile.
- Enter your new password in the Password bar.
- Click Apply Changes.
- You'll see a confirmation message that says, "Password changed."
- Your new password will now show in the Unit tile.
- Try reconnecting to your WiFi to verify your password is working and has been updated.
- Note: Your Network name can't be changed.

Student housing customers
To generate a new password:
- Click the arrow in the Unit tile.
- Select Generate New Password.
- Click Yes.
- You'll see a Password refreshed message and your new password will display in the Unit tile.
- Try reconnecting to your WiFi to verify your password is working and has been updated.
- Note: Your Network name cannot be changed.

See what’s online
See what’s online now is where you can view all online devices connected to your WiFi network and the device information.
To view your connected devices information, just click the arrow next to the device name.
