The instructions below detail how to install and pair a Light Switch. We recommend professionally installing this device with a licensed third party.

Preparation Needed
The instructions will cover the two main steps to setting up your Light Switch: installing your Light Switch and pairing your Light Switch with the touchscreen.
Equipment Needed:
- Flat-head screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver
Note: Only one-way lighting is supported. Lights with two or more switches controlling them can't be automated. Some electrical skill required for installation. Consult a professional before attempting.
Installing your Light Switch
- Be certain that you shut off all power to the light switch you are replacing. Turn the power off at your fuse panel.
- Verify no power is available to the light switch. When you turn the light switch on, the light should not illuminate.
- Remove the Light Switch from the kit and place it in the room where the light to control is located.
- Using a flat-head screwdriver, remove the screws from the switch plate you are going to replace.
- Remove the cover from the old light switch.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the screws from the old light switch you are going to replace.
- Gently pull the old light switch outside the wall switch box.
- Using a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the screws that attach the wires to the old light switch.
- When all the wires are disconnected from the old light switch, remove it from the wall. Set aside the old light switch, which is no longer needed.
- Organize the wires and prepare them by removing 5/8" of their insulation from the end. If too long, clip the exposed wire to 5/8".
- Connect wires as follows:
- In-wall Red to LOAD (red)
- In-wall Black to HOT FEED (black)
- In-wall White to NEUTRAL (brown)
- In-wall Green to GROUND (bare)
- Warning: If a direct short is created between the Red wire and Ground or Neutral, the Dimmer Switch will be damaged and unusable.
- Each yellow wire nut fastens two wires. Cover bare wire ends with wire nut and turn it clockwise.
- Neatly push the wires back into the wall switch box. Position Light Switch with the airgap (small tab at the bottom of the switch's plastic panel) down.
- Use a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the light switch screws to the wall switch box.
- Position the cover around the light switch. Use a flat-head screwdriver to fasten the cover to the light switch.
- Enable power to the light switch. You can turn the power on at your fuse panel.
- Within minutes of powering on, the blue light will blink three times every few seconds. To complete pairing, press Next.
