What is Xfinity On Campus?
Xfinity On Campus is an Internet Protocol Television (IPTV) streaming service offered by Xfinity for colleges and universities as their on-campus TV service solution. This service is exclusively for students who live in on‐campus housing and is part of their housing fees.
With Xfinity On Campus, you can watch live TV, record shows to your cloud DVR, and stream thousands of Xfinity On Demand shows and movies directly to your favorite devices all while connected to your campus network. You can also watch shows using your school credentials to log in to over 90 live channels when off-campus.

Channels
Universities select the starting channel lineup. To see the channels included in your lineup, visit xfinityoncampus.com and select the Channels option. Channels marked with a Get Access button, require a monthly subscription.

How to use Xfinity On Campus Xfinity TV
Xfinity Stream app
- Sign in to the Xfinity Stream app.
- At the bottom, select Xfinity On Campus students sign in here.
- Select your school from the drop-down list.
- Sign in using your university credentials.
- You’ll then be sent back to the Xfinity Stream app.
Xfinity Stream portal
- Go to xfinityoncampus.com.
- Select your school from the drop-down list.
- Sign in using your university credentials (username and password).
- Choose Watch Now, and it’ll take you to xfinity.com/stream.

Xfinity On Campus with included Xfinity Internet
Universities can partner with Xfinity to provide Xfinity Internet for campus-wide WiFi. You’ll have dormitory or in-unit WiFi and community-wide WiFi for seamless roaming and connectivity.
If your campus has Xfinity WiFi, you’ll see a Manage WiFi button on the homepage when you log in to xfinityoncampus.com. Clicking this button lets you see your base included internet speed and any available upgrades.
How to get your WiFi network name and password
Your WiFi information is available in your dormitory. If you can’t find your WiFi information and need assistance:
- Go to xfinityoncampus.com.
- Select your school from the drop-down list.
- Sign in using your university credentials (username and password).
- Go to Your Account Settings.
- Under the Profile tab, you’ll find your WiFi information.
- Note: Depending on the network setup, your university may only have one network name.
Xfinity On Campus service upgrades
Your housing fees include Xfinity On Campus. However, you can choose to upgrade your internet speed and/or add more channels using a month-to-month, no-contract based subscription.

How to get help with service issues
If you’re unable to solve your connectivity, speed, or service issue, please follow the steps below. You’ll need to be in your campus housing with the device that’s experiencing issues to follow these steps.
- Go to xfinityoncampus.com and sign in.
- Go to the Support tab.
- Select the Live Chat icon.
- From there, you’ll be able to connect to a live chat agent for help. You’ll need:
- Your university email address.
- Your campus housing address.
- Your dorm number (if applicable).
- Your phone number.
