Before you start troubleshooting, make sure your device is connected to your residence hall's WiFi network. After troubleshooting, perform the following steps:
- Check several different apps or websites to make sure the connection issue isn’t specific to one in particular.
- Disconnect and reconnect your WiFi.
- Clear your device’s cookies and cache, then restart your browser.
- Restart the device you’re trying to connect with.
- Perform speed tests from two different devices.
- Make sure to run tests while close to the access point/media box and at the troubled locations.
- You can go to speedtest.net or speedtest.xfinity.com.

If you’re unable to solve your connectivity, speed or service issue, follow the steps below. You’ll need to be in your campus housing with the device that’s experiencing issues when following these steps.
- Go to xfinityoncampus.com and sign in.
- Go to the Support tab.
- Select the Live Chat icon, where you’ll be able to connect to a live chat agent for help. You’ll need to have:
- Your university email address.
- Your campus housing address.
- Your dorm number (if applicable).
