Reboot your TV Boxes
- Ensure your cables are tightly secured.
- Press and hold the Power button located on the front of the primary DVR TV Box for 10 seconds.
- The TV Box should automatically reboot.
Or:
- Ensure your cables are tightly secured.
- Unplug the power from your primary DVR TV Box for 30 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in to your TV Box.
Allow five minutes for your primary DVR TV Box to reboot. Then, follow the same steps for each one of your other TV Boxes. You must allow each TV Box to recognize the primary DVR TV Box (by checking to see if you can access recordings, for example) before moving on to reboot the next.
Not sure which TV Box is the primary one?
Your primary DVR TV Box is the box that provides full access to the DVR features of your On-Screen Guide, such as the ability to schedule or delete a recording or control live TV. The primary DVR is linked to networked TV Boxes in your home, and there is a splitter-like device at the connection point on the primary DVR.
