The Central Station Passcode is a security feature that allows you to identify yourself or someone you trust to the Central Monitoring Station in the event of an Xfinity Home system alarm. You must create the code during initial system setup but can easily change it whenever you want.
What you'll need:
- Xfinity Home
- Access to your Xfinity Home touchscreen
- Your Master Keypad Code

Changing your passcode in the touchscreen
You can easily view or change your Central Station Passcode using the touchscreen.
- On your Home screen:
- Swipe up to open the dashboard (if applicable), tap the gear icon, then tap Security.
- Or, if your touchscreen has apps, tap Settings.
- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code.
- On the Categories screen, tap Advanced Settings.
- On the Advanced Settings screen, tap Set Central Station Passcode.
- Enter a new code, and tap Done.
Changing your passcode in the Xfinity Home app
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Settings.
- Tap Security Codes.
- Scroll down to Central Station Passcode, then tap the pencil icon.
- Enter your four-digit Master Keypad Code.
- You'll be able to see your current Central Station Passcode. Enter a new passcode and then tap Save.
- The passcode must be four to eight alphanumeric characters long.
- Tap the arrow icon to exit without saving.
