Learn how to install your Kwikset Door Lock and pair it to your Xfinity Home system using the Xfinity Home app or Touchscreen.

- Access to the Xfinity Home app or Touchscreen
- One of the following Kwikset SmartCode Door Locks:
- 910 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt
- 912 Touchpad Electronic Lever
- 914 Touchpad Electronic Deadbolt
- 916 Touchscreen Electronic Deadbolt

Installing Your Lock
Before beginning the pairing process, verify that you purchased a Zigbee lock (check for a sticker on the device packaging) and install your lock according to the manufacturer's instructions:
Pairing Your Lock With the Xfinity Home App
- Sign in to the Xfinity Home app.
- On the Overview screen, tap the More icon, then tap Add a Device.
- On the Add a Device screen, tap the Kwikset model number you purchased.
- Tap Continue.
- You will be presented with tasks to complete before you can move forward with device pairing. Select each box to confirm that you have completed each task, then tap Continue.
- Remove the cover from the interior side of the Lock, then tap Continue.
- Follow the instructions for your specific Lock.
- Enter a name for your Lock, then tap Next.
- If you have more than one Lock, be sure and give each a unique descriptive name to minimize confusion.
- Tap Finish Set-up.
Pairing Your Lock with the Xfinity Home Touchscreen
- On your Home screen:
- Swipe up to open the dashboard (if applicable), tap the gear icon, then tap Devices.
- Or, if your touchscreen has apps, tap the Settings icon.
- Enter your Master Keypad Code.
- Select Categories > Home Devices > Door Locks and then Add Door Lock.
- Make sure that your Lock is ready for pairing. Instructions for preparing the Lock to be paired should be included in the installation instructions provided by its manufacturer.
- When your Lock is ready for pairing, tap Next.
- When pairing is successful, the Lock appears on the screen. This can take up to five minutes. When all of the Locks you're pairing appear on the screen, tap Done.

- The system will then tell you how many Locks have been paired. Tap Next.
- You'll see a list of the new Locks. Tap each Lock to configure it.
- Enter a name for the Lock, such as "Front Door," and then tap Next.
- When you're done configuring each Lock, tap Return to Menu.
