Learn how to use your Xfinity Home touchscreen to pair a thermostat with your Xfinity Home system.

Pair a thermostat
You can pair your thermostat before or after it is installed. Also, did you know you can pair more than one thermostat at a time?
On your Home screen:
- Swipe up to open the dashboard (if applicable), tap the gear icon and tap Devices.
- If your touchscreen has apps, tap Settings.
- Enter your Master Keypad Code.
- On the Categories screen, tap Home Devices.
- On the Home Devices screen, tap Thermostats.
- On the Thermostats screen, tap Add Thermostat.
- If your thermostat isn't installed yet, make sure it's powered up.
- Remove the cover.
- Insert the AA batteries.
- Make sure the network connectivity icon is blinking, indicating your thermostat is ready to pair.
- If the icon isn't blinking, reset the thermostat.

- If the icon isn't blinking, reset the thermostat.
- If your thermostat isn't installed yet, make sure it's powered up.
- When your thermostat is ready to pair, tap Next.
- When pairing is successful, the thermostat appears on the screen.
- This can take up to five minutes.

- When all the thermostats you're pairing appear on the screen, tap Done.
- The system tells you how many thermostats have been paired. Tap Next.
- You'll see a list of the new thermostats. Tap each thermostat to configure it.
- Enter a name for the thermostat, such as "Downstairs hallway," then tap Next.
- When you're done configuring each thermostat, tap Return to Menu.
Congratulations! You've successfully paired your thermostat(s). You can now control the thermostat through:
