A dual SIM device has two IMEIs that can support a Sim card (pSIM) or a digital SIM (eSIM). Most dual Sim devices support a pSIM on IMEI1 and an eSIM on IMEI2. iPhone 13 and the 3rd generation iPhone SE can support both pSIM on either IMEI.
A dual SIM device allows you to have two different cellular plans on your pSIM and eSIM, even from different carriers. When traveling abroad, you can get an eSIM without swapping out your Xfinity Mobile pSIM.
1. Go to Settings > General, and tap About.
2. Under Carrier Lock, you should see a message that says "No SIM restrictions." If you don't see that message, contact Xfinity Mobile.
Using an eSIM will not affect the lock status of your device. Many unlocked devices are compatible with Xfinity Mobile. You can check your device eligibility here.
